After over 34 years of ownership Lynn Allinger and Gary Stam are beginning a new chapter of their lives retiring to their mountain home in Bakersville, North Carolina.  That new beginning for Lynn and Gray brings excitement for Craft Company as the gallery will continue on with new owner, Kathy Verzillo, in February 2014. Kathy is excited to continue many Craft Company traditions and is looking forward to creating new traditions for years to come having so many creative artisans and staff to work with.

“I would like people to know that I plan to continue Lynn’s passion for making Craft Company No. 6 THE place to go to acquire hand-made arts and crafts.  The store has been an icon for fine gifts and artwork in the Rochester community for over three decades.  Craft Company No. 6 will continue to offer beautiful works of our current artisans; we look forward to discovering new treasures for you, our valued customers.
I welcome suggestions from customers and staff on how the buying experience and inventory we carry can become even more exciting, and how Craft Company No. 6 can best be used to satisfy our community's need for unique artistic experiences, in whatever form they may take.
My vision is to use these experiences to enrich the lives of our current and future patrons.  Craft Company No. 6 will continue to be an exciting part of our citizen’s lives and a desired destination for all who visit our City.”

  Kathy Verzillo

Lynn and Gary wish to thank their loyal staff, customers and artists for their many contributions. Without this team effort Craft Company No. 6 would not have become a top national American craft gallery and treasured Rochester destination.
